WE BOTH WISH we had partaken of social nudity long before we did. We
started out as home nudists for about a month and then over the 4th of
July weekend, were invited to someone's home to skinny dip. That was
very relaxing, fun, and liberating. There was no gawking and, within
minutes, we both forgot that we were naked and only wished that we had
done this sooner.
We actually were at that pool on Saturday afternoon and Monday
afternoon. On Sunday evening we met a couple who lives near us for
dinner and after we recognized that we clicked with each other we had a
nude game night at our place. It was so much fun. As fun as the pool and
the game night were (they really were) there were only a few (at most
10) people at the events.
Our first true experience with social nudism was at a nude picnic at
Maheso. After we arrived at Maheso, we disrobed as fast as we could. The
next seven hours were phenomenal. We met great people from all walks of
life who were as friendly, if not friendlier, than society at large.
There were around 200-300 people at the picnic. Besides eating, which we
did a lot of, we also swam, sunbathed, watched volleyball, and played
shuffleboard (only because it was the closest activity to the pool). It
was unfortunate that the picnic, as all good things do, must come to an
end. The picnic, however, reinforced our plans to go to Avalon's music,
arts and crafts festival the second weekend in August. We've even
volunteered to help welcome and register people as they come in. We are
a couple that completely believes in clothing only when necessary. This
is especially interesting since my wife (totally my better half) was
initially a reluctant spouse. In each of the settings, however, she was
the first one to disrobe each time.
As the summer progressed our socially nude activities increased
dramatically. We went sailing on the Chesapeake twice, more
skinny-dipping and game nights and eventually joined a delightful
non-landed club, Capital Area Family Naturists and AANR and TNS. The
recreation center parties held during the fall and winter months along
with the themed home parties have been very relaxing and thoroughly
enjoyable. |
